Better
known in the Malaysia market as Electrical Components Capacitor,
the company has been using this brand name since 1978. A generic
name and some find it too long to remember, Electrical Components
were some times referred as EC in short. Preparing the company
and its brand to achieve greater heights especially in the international
arena, the management adopted a new logo and new brand name
in 2002.
The new brand name ELCO, derived from the first two alphabets
of the word Electrical and Components. ELCO is unique and easy
to remember.
The brand new logo has received the stamp of approval from Ms
Honey Lim, the protegee of the world famous fung shui master
Mrs Lilian Too. It has a golden brown sphere background with
the letters ELCO in the centre is said to be very auspicious
and signify support and income from all over the world!
